USA - The White House


This one, was sent by Shana, from Washington D.C.! She said me that...
after the british burned it down, in War of 1812 ("second war of independence" - http://www.history.com/topics/war-of-1812) it had to be rebuilt.
"The oldest public structure, started in 1792 and home of the Presidents of United States, is a perfect example of late 18th century Renaissance and yet has the simple dignity of a gracious American home."
