Belgium - Atomium

This postcard was sent by Matilde! It shows the famous Atomium in Brussels, which was built to the Expo 58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (also known as Wereldtentoonstelling Brussel 1958, in dutch), the first major world's fair after World War II. The building was designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and the architects André and  Jean Polak and has 102m. It represents a iron crystal magnified 165 billion times.
