This funny postcard was sent by David! The reason of the joke is that the temperature in Fahrenheit which is the same in Celsius is -40, then, doesn't matter -40 ºC or -40 ºF. The back of the postcard tell that the average annual snowfall of New York is 56'' (142,24 centimeter).
